The Out of the Kitchen Meal Plan.
Providing healthy meals for your kids is possible by planning ahead. These are a few of the things I plan for:
- Washing and chopping vegetables once or twice a week (after the trip to the store).
- Having foods prepared for snacking, such as trail mix, granola bars, roasted nuts, hard boiled eggs, muffins, homemade yogurt, popsicles, etc..
- Knowing what we’ll have for dinner by 10am.
- I don’t plan to buy food in the house that I don’t want my kids eating. We don’t buy potato chips, fruit snacks, pop tarts, candy (The biggest junk food offenders in my opinion).
So, while I’m keeping it simple this week, I’m also going to keep this meal plan simple. There is nothing complicated this week, minimal cooking times, no “recipes”, and no fuss!
- Saw Mark Zuckerberg in real life yesterday, and left my SD card in my computer!! Dohh! (this is the picture from the paper)

- Today is the last day to enter the Souplantation giveaway. TWO Giveaways are going to be kicked off next week, so stay tuned.
- For past menu’s, go here
- I’m really nervous about I week. The only foods I can think of that start with the letter I is Iceberg lettuce, Ice cream, and Italian food. So, anything else you’ve got up your sleeves, I’d love to hear.
