Eating Out & Choosing Healthy Meals
One of the hardest parts of losing weight is finding the balance between being able to be socialand go out for meals while sticking to your diet. The problem with restaurants is that the portionsyou are given are usually around two or even three times the size that you should be eating, and you never know exactly what is in your meal. More often than not, restaurants use lots ofsalt, whole fat creams, and butter to make their food taste as good as possible. This isn’t evenmentioning the deep fried foods and fatty dressings and sauces they pile on. That being said, eating out isn’t impossible, you just have to be mindful of what and how much you eat.Even ordering a salad will not save you – a large Caesar salad can contain 800-900 calories, more than a cheeseburger and fries! Salad dressings can contain a lot of hidden calories.
