One mile on a treadmill marks a milestone
Tawnie Knight has finished nine weeks of her six months of free training with Gabe Nagy, and she’s feeling the difference.
Knight won the training thanks to an essay she wrote to Nagy, explaining why he should pick her for the fitness regime.
“Knowing how to exercise and lose the weight would transform my life,” Knight said in her essay.
“It would be such a wonderful opportunity to change my quality of life.”
Here’s her latest blog entry:
“I feel like I am accomplishing so much right now. I am happy, I feel better about myself, and did I mention, accomplished? I hit a big milestone for myself this week. I was able to walk a mile on the treadmill with Gabe Nagy of Grand Fitness. He challenged me, and we were gradually working toward it, but this week I actually managed it. One mile. It may not seem like a lot, but it is a huge accomplishment for me.”
